Nail Breast Cancer this October!
This October I will be collecting for Future dreams Nail breast cancer month. Any loose change you have please bring to your appointments and fill up my collection box. You won't miss the pink balloons in the salon, so it will be a reminder to you when you come in to give to this charity!.
Breast cancer hit my family this year so it means even more to me this year!
Future Dreams started in 2008 by mother and daughter Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie. By a cruel twist of fate they were both diagnosed with Breast Cancer, Danielle just 35 and a mother of 3 young children. Tragically both women lost their lives to the disease within a year of each other in 2009. Their dream to was to make sure that nobody should ever have to face this illness on their own.
Over 50,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year, the equivalent of one person every 10 minutes according to Breast Cancer Care. To date Future Dreams has raised over £5m pledging funds towards the charities three aims - support, awareness and research, focusing on secondary breast cancer.
